The ARTS have shown themselves to not only insert cultural enterprise into the world, but also serve as a healing tool. The Uptown Collective is a community that helps develop and support the whole artist: mind, body and spirit.

  • The Virtual Upload 

    • The presentation of work whether it be through table reads, writing groups or filming.

    • Suitable projects: plays, musicals, short films, new media, web series, bands, music, podcasts. Any project that needs workshopping, incubation, and/or space for development.

    • Please allow 5-7 business days for processing the application.

    • Selected artists will receive 2-3 weeks to rehearse a reading and/or soft launch at The Dream Center.

    • Rehearsals must be during TDC open hours.

    • Presentations will be aired on our site

The Uptown Collective Conversation is a space for artists to share
their thoughts and feelings. Join other artists as we talk about the
mental, emotional and financial effects of the pandemic on artists.
The Talkback on Tuesday, February 23 is a follow-up to the
“Collective Conversation: Artists & the Pandemic.” We invite you
to view the conversation on our YouTube channel then join in the
talkback.
